~Delicate Blooms~

So far April has been really wet compared to the beautiful March we had. Fresh flowers inside the house help me get through those days.  Enjoy ! xoxo K.

Ranunculus have the most delicate petals that can sometimes almost look like tissue paper or the ruffled pages of a really old book.  This bunch next to my bed are in the prettiest shades of pink.

I've always had a weakness for crystal chandeliers and this new candelabra goes nicely with the one hanging over the bed.  It also looks great with some French items and these pretty blooms.

This is probably the last of the ranunculus for this year, but with all this rain my plants are growing like crazy, the trees are branching out and the bushes are filling with blooms. It won't be long and I'll be able to walk outside and have a multitude of flowers to choose from♥

I hope you all have a wonderful week.  Looks like I'll be inside for most of mine, but I'm sure I'll have plenty to keep me busy..... there always is!

  10. I love the vintage candelabra and with the added crystals it is just gorgeous. I also love the old soda syphon on the bedside table. My parents always had one just the same on the sideboard in the dining room on the drinks tray. It was taken to the wine store every couple of weeks or so where it was refilled. Brought back so many memories seeing that, I wish I still had the bottle, it was identical. x

  16. Kathleen, these photos are beautiful!!! I love that candelabra is such a pretty one and looks lovely with the ranunculus. I love the unique pieces that make your bedroom so beautiful.
It has been so dry here and so when we got rain a couple of nights ago it was such a surprise. Maybe you will send some of your rain my way? :)
I actually was able to get out and transplant a few things today and boy, did it feel good to get some dirt under my nails! I hope soon when your rain quits, you can do that same...but I'm sure you already have.
    sending hugs...
