~Savoring Summer~

I know many of you are decorating your homes for Fall and some are tired of the heat, but we've had such beautiful warm sunny days here that it is hard for me to give up Summer just yet.

Nothing better than a tall glass of lemonade to quench your thirst on a hot day.  Enjoy! xoxo K.

I found this wonderful old box at a garage sale I attended this Summer and love everything about it.  The lettering and the worn wood are perfect.  It can be used for it's original purpose of storage along with being an awesome coffee table or side table anywhere in your home, porch or patio area.  It's one of those pieces that I bought to sell, but it might have to reside in my home for just a little bit, don't you think?

These little daisies are the wild ones that grow on our property and after the first round of their blooms are cut back some will produce a few more this time of year. They fit nicely in an old French bottle.

Have a wonderful week!

    Jolie publication... Belles photos.
    ❁ Gros bisous ❁

  6. Please pour me a glass of lemonade, looks refreshing and Philadelphia is in the mid 70's not at all Fall like yet. Your vintage box find is wonderful as well as your French bottle. Love how you capture the essence of the moment in your photography.

  16. The lemonade looks so yummy. I am trying to savor these last few beautiful days of summer before the coolness of fall really sets in. It has been chilly at night but getting up in the low 70's during the day so it is all still good.

  17. In northern Utah we are into Fall full swing. The mountains look like a patchwork quilt. The afternoons are still hot but loving the mornings and evenings.

  19. It still seems like summer here, too. I've been bringing in the hydrangeas, and roses to enjoy before decorating with the fall colors. I love your backyard setting by the garden gate. Very pretty post.
