~Cheery Sunflowers~

The sun is back today after some much needed rain showers.  It is supposed to stay dry over the weekend so I'll be outside starting the cutting back process of my garden.

Many of my sunflowers stalks were falling over from the heavy rain, so I tried to salvage as many blooms as I could to bring inside.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I like the pop of color they bring to this area of my dining room.

I'm finally getting in the mood for Fall and have been scouring my "Fall Inspiration" Pinterest board lately to get ideas for what I want to do this year.

I had a great day yesterday with my Mom gathering some pumpkins, mums and pansies for the pots on my porch and patio.   It's always a fun time of year to visit garden centers.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  11. Is there a happier flower? I don't think so. I see a sunflower, and a smile starts across my face. LOVE the quiet neutrals with these little flowers taking center stage. I'm on my way to visit your Fall Inspiration Pinterest board.
Happy day to you and yours,

  13. I love your sunflowers, Kathleen! The size is just right for my little area of planting; would you happen to know the name? I always think sunflowers are such a fun flower and who can resist stopping to take pictures in front of a field of sunflowers. A few weeks ago I got to do just that at a local sunflower field with my daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law. Although I'm not the best photographer in the world, we got some wonderful shots with these flowers in the background.
