I shared the pansies on the front porch of the Garden House with you two weeks ago here and today welcome you inside. I've got a couple things going on that demanded some major Spring cleaning, both inside and out and that's exactly what I've been doing these past couple weeks.
The Garden House needed to get cleaned up and ready for all the planting I will be doing over the next month getting ready for Summer. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I shared my potting bench with you last Spring, but wasn't finished with the rest of the room. My husband added more galvanized tin to the walls between the studs and I added a great industrial cart along with a shelf for more storage.
My favorite bistro table and chairs sit underneath the window by the door and I put a collection of galvanized watering cans on a shelf that runs the length of this wall.
A cast iron sink sits inside a table that my husband built which still needs to be plumbed in and I'm wanting to build an awning above this window to hold some hanging lights when we get the electricity hooked up along with and industrial light hanging from the middle of the room.
So as you see, not quite a finished product yet, but it's getting there!
This week I'm finishing getting everything ready for the Farm and Frills Show coming up this Saturday, May 10th 9-5. Make sure to stop by if you are going to the Show:-)
I'd also like to share Kerryanne's newest Simply Shabbilicious magazine that just came out and want to thank her for featuring my home in this issue. You can go to her blog here to view it online or order a printed copy.

What a great space to do your planting in, Kathleen! I love all the terracotta pots you've got just waiting for plants. I always wanted a spot with a potting bench. I remember trying to transform our shed {that hubby built} at our old house, but the lawn mower and snow blower were major obstacles!
ReplyDeleteDes petits pots qui devraient bientôt se remplir de fleurs ...cet endroit est parfait pour jardiner , quel charme !
ReplyDeleteit's all wonderful!! love the walls, sink table, well everything!!

Oh, I love your wonderful garden shed, Kathleen! The column accents are simply stunning and on my gotta have it list. Can you provide resource information? I could not hit the "pin it" button quick enough- it's a pleasure to share beautiful ideas.

ReplyDeleteLove your garden shed. Did not know you were at the last Farm Frills show. I live just minutes from there. We have quite a bit in common with our love of shabby, chippy & rusty things and we share the same blog designer.
