Not a lot is blooming in my garden this time of year, but my Heather is starting to show it's color which reminds me that Spring is getting closer.
Tomorrow is the first day of March and the days are staying light a little bit longer, so there is hope that this long, cold Winter will come to an end.

I bought a few more Heather plants to add to my garden and until then they are providing that needed color on an outdoor table for me to enjoy!  xoxo K.

We have had a couple days of slightly warmer temps and sunny skies this week which has felt wonderful and I've enjoyed getting outside to putter around.

I also wanted to share this basket that I recently purchased.  It's from France and I love the letters and the strap to hold it closed.

I hope the sun is shining where you are today.  Have a nice weekend.

  2. Your heather is so bright and beautiful!! We've had a colder than usual winter, but hopefully that doesn't mean spring will be later in coming.

  3. Kathleen, the photos of your heather, and the French basket on your enamel topped table are so lovely and refreshing for my eyes. When I look out all I see is white. lol It was sunny today though but very cold. Beautiful photos!

  4. Just AwEsoMe BASKET!!!
Is that a "hint-of-green" in the background?!?!? ~ Lucky YOU...

  5. Kathleen,
Gorgeous pictures and post. I went back through the pictures a few times. It just looked so much like spring. I hope we see spring sometime soon. Lot's of snow for us again. Ughhh it just does not want to end. Loved dreaming about Spring through your pretty pics.

  6. Today was the warmest day so far this winter and now we may get snow on Sunday! Crazy weather. The Heather looks so pretty in the way you have it displayed. Can't wait for spring!

  7. Beautiful photos! Love heather, and that basket is adorable!

  8. Pretty gloomy here today, but I really enjoyed these lovely photos!

  9. So pretty!! Where we live its still very white and cold...your lovely pictures give me hope :)

  10. For those of us who love to garden, these images are magic! I have a similar basket (but not antique) & have been toying with the idea of stenciling something on it.
    Enjoy the sunshine!

  11. Yes I also love Heather!! Love the pictures. We are getting more snow here and It always makes us feel good to see some signs of spring!

  12. Beautiful photos, beautiful styling too. The Heather is a bright vivid color punch of mother natures energy. It is one of the flowers that I actually find relaxation from looking at it. OK maybe just me but I feel it is a charming flower.
Your basket is beyond perfect! Lucky girl. Love your little tin or zinc pots. Many years ago mini cypress trees used to be put into a tin pot at Christmas time from Trader Joe's and Whole-foods. Well I saved them all and weathered them outside and use them to put in tiny flowers for individual place settings. I know yours are true vintage and I'm drooling over them!!!!

  13. Absolutely stunning! The heather looks gorgeous paired with your rustic pieces.

  14. Your photos are so so beautiful! I can't wait until the snow melts here and I can get outside to do a little gardening. Until then I'll just enjoy your photos.

  15. Oh, I love your gorgeous basket! Love all of these pics-so pretty and 'spring-y'! :)

  16. Hi Dear,
