~Heather~

Not a lot is blooming in my garden this time of year, but my Heather is starting to show it's color which reminds me that Spring is getting closer.
Tomorrow is the first day of March and the days are staying light a little bit longer, so there is hope that this long, cold Winter will come to an end.

I bought a few more Heather plants to add to my garden and until then they are providing that needed color on an outdoor table for me to enjoy!  xoxo K.

We have had a couple days of slightly warmer temps and sunny skies this week which has felt wonderful and I've enjoyed getting outside to putter around.

I also wanted to share this basket that I recently purchased.  It's from France and I love the letters and the strap to hold it closed.

I hope the sun is shining where you are today.  Have a nice weekend.

  2. Your heather is so bright and beautiful!! We've had a colder than usual winter, but hopefully that doesn't mean spring will be later in coming.

  12. Beautiful photos, beautiful styling too. The Heather is a bright vivid color punch of mother natures energy. It is one of the flowers that I actually find relaxation from looking at it. OK maybe just me but I feel it is a charming flower.
Your basket is beyond perfect! Lucky girl. Love your little tin or zinc pots. Many years ago mini cypress trees used to be put into a tin pot at Christmas time from Trader Joe's and Whole-foods. Well I saved them all and weathered them outside and use them to put in tiny flowers for individual place settings. I know yours are true vintage and I'm drooling over them!!!!
