~Adding to my Collections~

Can one ever have too many collections?  Some might think so, but I am constantly looking to add to mine.  I'm changing a few things around in my home especially in the kitchen.  I received a stainless steel Kitchen Aid for Christmas this year and it got me thinking about a industrial table that I have that might look great as an island  for a new look...........more to come on that later.

If you are like me, you move one item and it starts a domino effect and new vignettes are created.  My newest collection is breadboards which look great with all the ironstone in my primitive cupboard.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I don't think I could ever have enough ironstone and the more crazing the better...in my opinion anyway!

Adding some greenery with woods and ironstone is a look I really like in the kitchen.

I only have one of these marmalade jars and would like to add more, but never seem to see them.

  2. I've been a collector since childhood, and I think it's hard for most collectors to stop adding pieces when the opportunity presents itself. Your cupboard full of ironstone and wooden pieces is a nice way to enjoy your collection. Looks great!

  12. Love your bread boards, and the marmalade jar is neat! I don't think you can have too many collections, unless you are like me. I tend to want them all on display, and that ends up being like clutter. :-)

  35. Hello,
The large wooden round boards you have are called peels. They were used to slide bread dough or pizza dough into the oven. You may already know this, but I thought you might like to know this if you were not aware. (You called them bread boards).
    Everything looks lovely. :)
