Since I don't have anything blooming this time of year in my own garden and I can't always buy fresh blooms, I like to have dried ones around the house, such as lavender.

I've recently been going through items that I will be adding to my Etsy store, which I'm still hoping to open bear with me!  I've been collecting some french treasures to sell similar to what I have in these photos.  I came across this french zinc pitcher in my stash and added some lavender to it.  Now it resides in this area of my office where I can smell it's lovely aroma while I'm on the computer.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

A few french books with candles wrapped in french paper and this vignette is perfect!

I like the contrast between the lavender and the chippy white drawers.

If you've followed my blog for a while, you already know that I like to collect anything with a time worn patina.  I was able to get out and go junking this past weekend and found some great things.  I also found another collection without even trying.....I've been drawn to crocks for many years now, but just recently fell in love with these jugs!

There is something about their shape and I love how this trio looks together and I placed a few of the tulips my husband gave me for Valentine's Day inside one of them before they were all wilted.  I bought these beauties to sell, but they might just have to hang out in my house for a while until my next show and then I'll decide.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

Another great find was this large pizza board that I bought to set on top of my wicker trunk that I use as a coffee table in my living room, but it's actually too big and the handle sticks out which I figured could be dangerous if it got bumped all the time.  For now it will reside on my table with the jugs.

~Pink Hyacinths~

The sun has been trying to come out here today and I wanted to take advantage of the light coming through my windows and share these pretty pink hyacinths that are finally blooming with you.  I started these as bulbs and have enjoyed watching them grow sitting in my kitchen window.

They were getting top heavy, so I cut some blooms to have in my bedroom.  I love having flowers in there so I can smell them as I'm drifting off to sleep.  It reminds me of warmer days to come when the aromas from flowers in my yard will drift through the open window with the breeze....pure heaven.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I've had this tin cannister for a while now with it's faint writing"cafe".  I wish I could find a set of these for my a decent price, which is the problem.

Such a soft, pale pink bloom and I love the contrast with my architectural capital.

I'll be sharing with these lovely ladies this week:

Wishing everyone a very special Valentine's Day spent with the one's you love.

~Simple Valentine's Decor~

I just wanted to add a little love to these branches I have resting in my french galvanized body pitcher in the laundry room.  Who says the laundry room can't get a bit dressed up for the holidays?

I was picking up some piles of old paper and book pages that I had lying around and decided to cut out a few hearts.  Clipped with clothespins onto different branches adds just the touch this vignette needed.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and I'll be linking this post to SNS over at Funk Junk Interiors.

~Junk Salvation 2013~

I'm still trying to catch up after the whirlwind of a weekend I had.  I want to thank Linda and Dixie from Funky Junk Sisters for having me at their show.  They are two of the sweetest ladies and I really enjoyed spending a little time with them since our booths were across from each other.

I snapped some photos before the crowds rushed into my booth on Friday night.  It was a whirlwind and I appreciated that Shellagh was there to help me.  The lighting isn't always the best in these buildings and I never could really get an overall photo of my booth, but I'll share with you what I have.  Just warning you...there's quite a few.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

Shellagh's bedding and linens were such a wonderful addition to my booth and you can go to her Etsy store to purchase any ofthe linens you see in these photos as well as much more.

I appreciate everyone who came out and purchased things from me and I enjoyed seeing some familiar faces as well as meeting some of you for the first time.

Now it's time to start thinking about Farm Chicks which will be my next Show the first weekend in June!
