~Fall on the Porch~

The weather in the PNW  has been beautiful this past week, so I thought I'd share some of my porch with a few Fall touches.  Mainly I just added some pumpkins and planted a few pansies.  I had wanted to put some corn stalks behind the urns, but the corn in our garden didn't grow this year and I haven't seen any to buy.  If I find some I'll add it, otherwise my decor will be simple, which is fine too.  It sure has felt good to soak up a little more sun out here.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

More of these greenish grey pumpkins for the urns on either side of my front door and I actually still have a geranium blooming along with some allysum.

A rusty old wagon found it's way onto the porch under this bench for holding mostly white pumpkins.

The leaves of the wisteria planted along the front of my porch are starting to turn color along with many other trees on our property.

I planted some more of this grass out here beside my boy and girl statue and am really liking this look.

Jack decided it was time for me to be done snapping photos because he wanted to snuggle in the chair which was fine since it was getting late and I was losing my lighting.

Just as I turned to go into the house I noticed that Cali wanted to snuggle on a cushion too:-)

I will be linking up with these lovely ladies this week.

  1. Kathleen, you have such a lovely homely porch with interesting things to look at in every corner. I'm not surprised your fur babies wanted to be out there with you too.

  13. So lovely! What kind of dog is Jack. He looks so similar to my Poppy, who is a lab, flat coat mix, but I think she must also have Collie in her.

  14. I love the colors of your pumpkins! Your porch is so welcoming and pretty. For the first summer in a long time our pots look great since we had a cooler and very wet summer. My impatiens still look so pretty, that we haven't decorated for fall at all! I usually put out mums and pumpkins.

I'll just have to enjoy your pretty porch!

  15. What a cozy space you've created there, Kathleen! The soft neutral colors, the mix of textures...just perfection! I couldn't help but notice how much your sweet Cali looks like the beloved tortie I used have years ago. Hannah was a "tub of love', too. :) Enjoy your beautiful weather this weekend, girlie!!

  28. What gorgeous pictures. Your porch looks so beautiful and a great place to sit with your nice weather. It's been very cold here back east with a touch of snow this week. It's hard to adjust to the cold after such a beautiful warm fall.
