I love how the galvanized wall looks in this building...so much so, that my husband is going to finish off the remaining walls with more of this rusty weathered goodness. He is also currently making the base for the old cast iron sink that will go in here as well. The potting bench was a great find and already painted the best grey color. I hope to keep sharing photos as everything is completed, but wanted to share this area for now.
I've been collecting garden items for many years and love how it's all coming together. Grey, galvanized metal and industrial furnishings seem to be taking over.
Love this tall bottle drying rack for hanging small pots and I hope to get this clock working again so I won't lose track of time while out here puttering.
I'm still working on my collection of these french zinc pots to fill up this metal basket and also adding to my frog collection whenever I find them.
I'll be linking with these lovely ladies in the week to come.

This is utterly charming! What a lovely space to store your garden things and putter with planting up pots.
ReplyDeletevery pretty, we have the same taste, though gardeners are very similar, I think. Having a place to put treasures is the key to being organized. I just emptied my booth space at a local shop and all my unsold items are in my car and I'm wondering where to put them. Makes my head spin. Always something to put away when you love stuff!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love it....sooooo wish I had a shed or barn or garden room like yours, it's a dreamy rustic place to go to even if you have no plans of gardening. It's a place you can putter and take in that natural nature feeling of calm.
ReplyDeleteIt's a magazine photo shoot picture for sure.

Happy weekend to you.

I love that tree with the pots on it. We are still having horrible hot weather, but they say that will end next week and I will be working in the garden all week long.
ReplyDeleteLove your potting bench!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful garden house! The tin building reminds me of a building my parents had when I was young made completely from tin. They called it a smokehouse, but it wasn't used for that. It was more of a storage shed. I'd love to be able to go into it now, but it is long gone. You've made this a lovely space for puttering!
ReplyDeleteIt looks sensational! So beautifully put together. The galvanized wall is a wonderful touch. It would be a wonderful place to hang out. I hope you're enjoying the holiday!
ReplyDeleteJust simply outstanding... your staging and creations drive me crazy... I gave away a shelf similar to the one you numbered because I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I'm crying now. :)
ReplyDeleteFeaturing this beautiful project on I Love That Junk on Monday!
Love your rusty and galvanized look to. Really love the frogs, their hard to find.

Oh my goodness! I'm in love with all the vintage, metal and industrail goodness! Love all the pots and they drying rack is perfect! Can't wait to see when you're all finished with the building!
ReplyDeleteMan..I think I would rather live in your potting shed than my apartment..it looks like it is out of one of those movies..you know the kind you watch just to see the décor...oh I must ask your little zinc pots are they easy to come by there...a woman at one of the antique markets here has a ton of them..right from France, she charges $4 each..i have a few and may get some more..just curious what you pay..anyway I will stop rambling now..xoxo
ReplyDeleteKathleen, I have serious Garden House envy. I love every inch of it and want to be there and soak in the ambiance of the vintage pots and worn timbers. It looks so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it at Shabbilicious Friday this week. I'm pleased to be featuring it at my party today.
ReplyDeleteI love your potting shed!
