~Butterfly Bush Blooms~

My Butterfly Bushes are just loaded with blooms this year.  They are the perfect flower to fill the tall white ironstone pitcher I have in my newly finished master bathroom.  The color works great in here and they smell divine.

I'm sharing a little bit of the corner area by my clawfoot tub with these blooms today and it's just a small sampling of this finished room.  My hope is to share the reveal next week, if time allows.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I love flowers that make a statement all by themselves!

Such pretty delicate petals.

  8. Wow-Aren't those beautiful? I don't think I have seen any that are that pale. Most of the ones I see here are deeper and brighter. I really LOVE the looks of yours. Pretty-pretty! xo Diana

  9. Our yard is full of butterfly bushes and they are doing very well this year. I noticed you have a claw tub in your bathroom. I grew up with them and hated them, but now I would give anything to have one. Funny how things change when we get older.

  11. They are beautiful, Kathleen! My daughter wants to get a butterfly bush for her yard. We had one at our old house that just got huge. I loved it and it was wonderful to sit outside and watch all the butterflies go to it. I never though of cutting the blooms and bringing them inside.

  12. I love the flowers, and am looking forward to your master bath reveal, as the small bit that I saw looks fantastic. I especially love the plate/hot plate under your iron stone (mostly because I'm currently looking for something like that for in my kitchen...).
And yes, flowers that can stand on their own are the best.
    Thanks for sharing.

  28. I love the shade of your butterfly bush flowers. They look perfect in your bathroom. One thing about decorating with muted and neutral colors is that when you do add a little color, it really pops. I started bringing a few blooms from my butterfly bush in the house and was surprised to see thta the blooms lasted pretty well. Love the fragrance too!!
