~Vintage Apothecary Bottles~

I've been collecting vintage apothecary bottles and jars for my master bathroom makeover for a couple years now.  Sad to say it's taken that long to get this room finished and it still has a ways to go.  Other rooms and projects just seem to keep pushing this room  aside, but it's still on the list.

I was planting some ground cover down by our pond this morning and noticed all these wild daisies popping up everywhere.  We also have many ferns planted along the pond and the idea of placing both these plants in my bottles to share came to me.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I love the simplicity of the ferns sitting among these bottles.

This bottle is one I purchased at a french sale that I attend.  The label is so delicate with it's beautiful handwriting.

I would also like to announce the winner of the Pfaltzgraf "Cappuccino" dinnerware is Anne from White Lace Cottage.  Congratulations Anne!  Please send me your address so I can forward it to Jennifer at Lifetime Brands and she will get these dishes to you.  I appreciate everyone who entered and all the nice compliments I received on my table setting.

I also recently received my copy of Melinda's new magazine Inspiration Vintage and it is really beautiful.  She did such a great job and I'm so happy that her dream came true.

  1. I do wish I could come up with something more appropriate than "I love this/that"..but I DO!
The bottle photos are exquisite/elegant & simple perhaps "simply elegant" is adequate. Love 'em!!
I often throw together a centerpiece using a grouping of old or distinctive bottles
