The last couple days have been sunny and beautiful here and I've been able to get outside and enjoy it! I've been making a little progress in my potting shed and added some new zinc items I've bought recently.
Along with the ranunculus I bought at the garden center at the beginning of the week this area by the door as you walk inside with table and chairs is coming along nicely. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I was lucky to find another french zinc body pitcher and some more zinc pots as well.
I got my planter box on the porch planted this afternoon with pansies and sweet woodruff and added another ranunculus on the porch.
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend! I was going to finish my bathroom makeover this weekend, but living here, you have to take advantage of every nice day you get, so I'll be out working in my garden instead.

ReplyDeleteHello! I am so delighted to see what's new in your blog :) Thank you for beautiful photos and inspiration! By the way, your little zinc pots can be found in Polish forests - our forestmen use them to acquire resin from the trees so I always find them while picking up mushrooms :) Have a nice weekend!

Your little potting shed is adorable. How lovely. I wish we had that kind of weather here ~ sigh ~ I will have to be patient and wait a little longer. I can hardly wait to get out and work in the garden ~
ReplyDeleteIt looks so pretty and Springy. I am so jealous because we still have a lot of snow. In one of my old houses we had a zinc sink! It weighed a ton when we moved it! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely potting shed! Your zinc items look perfect in it and I love the table. It's so nice to see flowers potted and green grass. Enjoy the weekend sunshine. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteLove the patina and all the textures. I am hoping to head to my favorite garden shop to find a little something blooming. We actually plant pansies in October and November here, as we need to replace them in early spring. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteGive it another month here and I'll be doing the same. It looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Kathleen Love your porch and your pic's too

ReplyDeleteLove your new zinc pieces. Your shed is so cute, and I think you are a lucky duck to have one. I've always wanted one!
ReplyDeletethere is nothing in these photos that I don't love soooo much. I always am drawn to the old, the weathered, the use, timeworn- I always enjoy your posts and pics.

I am in love with the contrast of the zinc and the wood and the greens. I have learned the hard way that when you come across something vintage in zinc, grab it.
ReplyDeleteKathleen,
ReplyDeleteOnce again you take a simplistic look and make it so chic. I love your photos and the grey shutters...I too have some, but I am going to paint them black. I am huge lover of ranunculus such beauties.
Smiles,
sheila
