~Apple Blossoms~

I shared my camelia flowers with you on Tuesday and also wanted to share some apple blossoms that I brought inside to bloom.

I placed them in a zinc container from France that sits on my laundry room table.  This is the next room on the list to be completed.  Not too much more to do except hang a new shelf to hold coats and paint my cabinets.  Today I'd like to share a few little sneak peeks along with the blooms.  Enjoy! xoxo K.

~White Wednesday # 149~

It is always amazing to me how the sun has such an effect on both my garden and my mood.  We had a beautiful weekend with temperatures in the low 80's and many of my plants seem to have come into bloom.  One of which is my white camelia bush.  I lost half this bush because of the heavy snow we had this winter, but it didn't seem to stop the blooms from coming in full force.

I cut some and put them in a couple white enamelware pitchers.  I just recently found this little one and have never seen one so small.  They look lovely sitting on this cute white metal table with the natural wood from our little outbuilding as the background.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

~White Wednesday # 148~

I was lucky enough to win a giveaway from Amy and since we live close to each other we finally had an opportunity to meet for lunch yesterday.   This was not just any giveaway since everything was from France and this lucky lady is leaving to go again in a few weeks....what a dream come true.

Amy is so sweet and not only gave me my winnings, but also threw in some more books and a white rosary along with some great round wooden boxes all of which she knew I love.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

We had a wonderful lunch and I very much enjoyed our conversation.  As if this was not enough, she gave me a bouquet of white tulips (my favorite) because she felt bad for it taking a while to get together.  How sweet is she?  You made my day Amy and I love all my goodies.  Thanks so very much:-)

My feature for April is the lovely Melinda at Alabaster Rose Designs.  I've been drooling over Melinda's style and lovely home for a while now.

This is just a small sample of her style, so make some time to stop by and go through her previous posts where she shares her home and projects.  She is also having a great sale in her Etsy store right now which she will be closing soon to persue other dreams.

~White Wednesday #147~

I just can't believe how fast the weeks fly by and yet another has passed in the blink of an eye.  We have been having some warmer dry weather these last few days and have even hit 70 degrees...Wow!

Since I didn't have a post planned for today I went outside to try and think of one and of coarse as soon as I do the sun goes behind the clouds.  I'm not complaining though because at least it's dry and warm:-)

There isn't much blooming yet, but my candytuft is just starting to show her white blooms, so I put her in a white pot under my birdcage that sits next to  Mary on my potting bench.  I hope to enjoy many more days in this exact spot in the near future getting my nails dirty and soaking up some sun.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

~Home and Garden Show~

I was up at my booth at Monticello's all day long yesterday, but finally got it all put together and filled to the brim with goodies.  If any of you know me, you know I like to chat and it was so nice to see some friends that I haven't talked to in a while and catch up.

This years Home and Garden Show will not disappoint and there are some pretty amazing pieces for sale and displays to see.  It starts tomorrow morning with the doors opening at 8 am and will run through May.  So if you can't make it the first weekend, dealers will be bringing new stuff in daily.

I'll leave you with some photos of my booth and what I've been working on.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

~White Wednesday # 146~

I've been busy lately getting things ready to take up to Monticello's to add to my booth for the Home and Garden Show that starts this Friday.  It will last through May and is the perfect opportunity to get ready for Spring.

I'm sharing just a few white things that I will be taking up tomorrow and will hopefully have time to snap some photos of my booth when I'm all finished.  Enjoy! xoxo K.

This cute little bunny has the best patina as well as the urn with all it's chippy white paint.

Who wouldn't need a church  birdhouse for their feathered friends this Spring?

If you are in the area, I hope you make it to this show because it really is amazing!!!
