I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far. I've been busy this past week still working on my bedroom redo and trying to get outside to work in my garden when it is a nice enough day.
My husband was gone all week hunting, so I couldn't get everything hung or all my projects in my bedroom finished this week, but do have this little area along the wall between my office and master bathroom finished. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I've had this cupboard for quite a few years, but it had a dark stain and just didn't really fit into my decor any longer, so I painted it white.
I love the patina on this old window frame and just have a simple grapevine wreath hanging from it for now.
Added some moss, bulbs and a pinecone to this old birdcage for a natural look.

LOVE the cupboard white and the love the vignette!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I am looking at something I would have in my home, the tone on tone of old and driftwood patinas are so me. I could move this whole vignette right on over to my place. It reminds me of my post right now, it could mix in perfectly.
ReplyDeleteKeep inspiring us with your oldness of pieces.

I love the little frog and the bird cage is wonderful...you could put so many things in it!
ReplyDeleteKathleen, yes a lamp from Target!
ReplyDeleteI posted the lamp many months ago, and posted go figure Target would have so much coolness in something so filled with a look of history to it. Taking it out of its element to a home gave it a less forced look of being contemporary in the grouping they had it in did you not feel the same way I did when you decided to purchase them. I am sure they look fabulous in your home. When I posted them I had so many emails even ones who did not have a Target and wanted me to ship them one :)
Thank you for your visit and comment to my creative vignette.

Beautiful blog and very elegant pictures. You got some lovely stuffs here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)
Just lovely! Vignettes tell so much about a person (or they should anyway!). And yours shows that you are a lover of the beautiful remnants of time past that should be honored and highlighted in our homes. Very beautiful!
