Sunflowers are such a happy flower and these are some of the last flowers to still be blooming in my garden.
I was out working and decided to cut some and add them with some leaves that are turning color. I put them in a french galvanaized pitcher on the basket used as a coffee table in my living room. i like the added pop of color. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I needed something with more of a flat surface on this basket and am on the lookout for a large french cutting board, but in the meantime this weathered french crate will work and looks great in this room.
I also wanted to mention that I finally started a Facebook page so if any of you want to start "liking" me over there you can go here or I do have a button on my sidebar:-)

I love sunflowers! They look gorgeous in the metal pitcher and sitting on the wooden tray. I had one bloom this year and a squirrel broke it off and ate the whole thing before it even got ripened! Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteLove your sunflowers in the zinc pitcher. The whole vignette on your wicker and French crate adds a warm touch for this time of year.
