I found my first white pumpkin this week and bought some pansies to plant in pots on my porch and patio as well. I decided to set up a little vignette with some items that I've been collecting for my potting shed that my husband's cousin, himself and our son have been building for me.
Here is a photo of it how it looks right now and they are hoping to get the roof on this weekend before the heavy rains come.
This sketch is something I found on Pinterest of the look I was going for. The front area will be my potting/garden area and the back will be storage for all my "junk". It will be so nice to have everything in one area and not scattered all around. I will continue to share with you as it progresses, but in all reality probably won't have it finished until Spring.
I'm wanting a gray, weathered wood, galvanized look for this area and have been collecting items for a while now. The background in these photos is of another small outbuilding we have and my potting shed will be covered in similar wood as well that will hopefully fade and weather into this wonderful gray with a galvanized roof.
The metal folding table with wood slats is one of my favorites and I have two metal chairs to go with it as well. Bird cages and houses along with watering cans all put together have such a wonderful look.
I had purchased this new huge drying rack a couple years ago on clearance and just recently spray painted it with Rustoleum Hammered silver paint to give it a galvanized look which I'm hoping in time will start to look old and it's the perfect place to hang pots especially these old french zinc ones...love their patina!
I will be linking up with my lovely friend, Debra for her Fall Inspired VIF party.

It looks great! What fun to have a potting shed! Seeing your construction photo reminds me of my bunkhouse that is being built right now too! (some day it will be my studio) But sadly I had to leave it and come back to MN while they finish it up (I won't get to see it finished until next summer). I can't wait to see your project finished and all decorated in your pretty style!
