~Living Room Revisited~

I want to start this post by saying that I was overwhelmed with all the encouragement and support that I received from all your comments on my last White Wednesday post.  You don't know how it helped me to realize that the difficult decision I made was for the best and how much doing it had really touched each of you in your way.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart and this is really what I enjoy about blogging.  I'm still in the process of replying to all your comments as time allows:-)

I have been wanting to paint my living room walls for some time now and I can finally mark that off my "to do" list.  I completely rearranged everything in there as well, using only things I already had.  I'd really like new furniture, but that will have to wait for now.

I was a little rushed to get photos in time for Donna @ Funky Junk's Picture Perfect Room party tonight and my camera does not have a wide angled lens, but I think you can get the idea.  I love how it turned out and the walls and new curtains make it bright and airy allowing more light in.   Enjoy!  xoxo K.

The basket is french and makes the perfect coffee table.

This cupboard is where we keep our TV and stereo.

I moved my stacked benches to another wall and added two lamps for more lighting.

    Your living room looks great. I like how your TV is concealed in the pretty armoire rather than hanging over the mantel.
    The chippy corbels, the shelving, the stacked shelves, and the rest of the details really make your living room!

  26. What a lovely visit too. I have that same vintage table beside your fireplace, it was old when I found it 30 years ago. Mine is crackled green and the tips of the legs had to be repaired. Love all your wonderful pieces in your living room.

  28. I LOVE, LOVE this room Kathleen! Your new wall color is so serene, and you've decorated beautifully. So peaceful...those stacked benches are to die for. It reminds me of the Vintage by Nina book - I don't own it, but have just seen photos on blogs. You're the American Nina! :)
