~Roses & Silver~

They flatter each other, don't you think?  These beautiful roses came from my Mom's garden and they seemed to gravitate to this silver pitcher.   A match made in heaven.

Add in an old silver trophy, some silverware and a clock and the vignette is perfect.  Enjoy and have a wonderful weekend.  It's gonna get hot here...yeah!!!  xoxo K.

  3. How cool would it be to win a trophy for education? The mind can be a powerful muscle too!

  5. The roses look lovely in the silver! I went out and heavily watered my roses today. You are having a better attitude about the heat than I am--almost 100 today is just too hot for Oregon. I plan to sleep the weekend away:)

  23. The roses are fantastic. I live in the high desert country of Northern Arizona and it is so arid that we don't get lush flowers like you do in Oregon. I buy mine at Safeway in town or Trader Joe's when I visit Scottsdale. I only have wildflowers in my own yard that take no tending whatsoever. Great photos and wonderful vinettes. Thank you for sharing.

  24. Oh, my comment got lost, again. Me and Blogger don't always get along. We don't use our quiet voice, I guess. Love your roses and envy you the luxury of living in beautiful Oregon. It's beautiful here in Northern Arizona, however, it is very arid in any part of Arizona whether it's at 7,000 ft elevation or the Phoenix desert at 1400 ft. I get my roses from Safeway.

  31. Beautiful, yet again.

I am still coming to you for inspiration. I just wait for new posts for more great ideas. I have updated my living room recently and am really trying to fill it with warm, natural wood tones, white, wood, metal and some bits of red and white. Moving out the blue/greens that I really enjoyed for awhile but am ready to change up a little.
