~An Unexpected Gift~

I received an email a while back from Becky at Timewashed saying she'd like to send me a gift since I had featured her blog and she really appreciated me hosting White Wednesday every week.  It made me happy that I can touch someone's life through this little blog of mine and it was so thoughtful of her that I wanted to share what I received from this sweet, talented lady.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

I decided to set up a vignette with all the goodies I recieved mixed with some of my silver pieces.

The lavender sachet smells heavenly and the pears are so precious.  I even loved the note she sent along with this package.

I'm showing two out of six silver napkin rings which I needed more of, so they were perfect!!  Becky has an Etsy store which you can visit through her site and another blog called One Joyful Soul which I really enjoyed reading through....Thanks so much Becky for your thoughtfulness:-)

My limelight hydrangeas are all in bloom right now and I will be sharing more photos of them for WW this week.

  1. Hi Kathleen,
Those are really sweet and such nice gesture too. It is ironic because she just emailed me to make sure I was happy with my purchase from her. She seems like a really nice lady...and I loved my stuff from her too. I hope you have a great weekend!

    Smiles,

  4. What lovely gifts from Becky! I've had the pleasure of meeting her....she's a real sweetheart and one talented gal. Love your hydrangeas...I'm a bit jealous and wish I could grow the lime ones here in Florida.

    Have a wonderful weekend,

  5. I also have full bloom limelights. But whenever I take cuttings they are drooping before I even make into the house. I've even taken my vase filled with water outside with me but within an hour they are just so sad looking. Can you give me any suggestions or is this just how they are?

    Thanks

  11. Oh, your tarnished silver is so beautiful. I went thrifting this morning and found a wonderful heavy tarnished tray....$3.00 - cannot beat that.

Your gifts are amazing. I love how you created a gorgeous vignette with them.

  15. Some might think 'tarnished is not a good thing..NOT ME I say "It's another kind of beauty' that also says "It's had a life"..My Antiquer Business associate Shirley and I always described those flawed imperfect treasures that came into our hands as "It's had a Life." Makes my heart sing!
