Well our nice sunny warm days have officially come to an end and we are back to rain....I knew this was going to be hard on me since we had two full weeks of dry weather and I was loving every minute of it! I did have a chance during the dry spell to pick up a few gardening items in between all the kid activities.
I found this smaller sized wood cubby that i added numbers to and these great metal pots from a sweet lady who has a wonderful shop on her property filled to the brim. I was able to get all the pots on my porch and patio planted as well and my husband even got our vegetable garden planted which is early for us since we live at a higher elevation. I hope the rain doesn't last too long because I want to be able to get out and enjoy my new garden items and all my blooms. Enjoy! xoxo K.
One of my favorite annuals is bacopa with it's small white blooms.

I will trade ya any day Kathleen.
ReplyDeleteWe can house swap so you can have the heat and sun and I will take your cold rain. LOL
I research hypo-allergenic plants this year so we could have some greenery around. The new fake yard looks so nice with a few blooming plants.
Take care, enjoy that rain for me
Amy
I love your cubby! Adding the numbers just gives it so much more character. Love the pots and Bacopa is one annual I always buy. Thanks for having us over to your party.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Oh it all looks so good...love the #s...sorry about your rain...we have had sun for 3-4 weeks now..not good for a gardener like you! x0
ReplyDeleteOh that looks so awesome!'
ReplyDeleteAnd is that repurposed old large coffee tins used as a pot holder? How clever! Did you make those and paint them?
Love love love it - I like to use terra cotta b/c it is healthier for the potted plants - but get just a little sick of too MUCH of the color.
Very good idea!
Thank you for hosting one of the very best linky paries in Blogland!!
