~White Wednesday # 145~

With this week being Spring Break, I thought I'd get so much done, but haven't been feeling that well lately with no energy:-(  My Mom gave me some daffodils from her yard to help cheer me up.

I added them amongst the candles in my galvanized feeder on my dining room table.  This room is finally done(for now...you know how we all change things up so much) and my hope is to share overall shots by the end of the week.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

These corbels are my favorite with their natural wood patina.

We are heading out this afternoon to see The Hunger Games which my kids have been waiting so patiently to come out since they've read the books a while ago.  I enjoyed the book and am looking forward to the movie myself:-)

  18. OK really Kathleen, we could have written this post together. My kiddos started spring break this week, I promptly got a cold on Thursday night and have felt crappy since. We also went out this afternoon to see the Hunger Games. Loved it! How about you? My 12 yr old has read the trilogy-guess the mister and I need to read it as well. The movie was sure good. I love your daffodils by the way. We don't have any daffies blooming yet, but the forsythia is in full force as well as a few tulips and some hyacinth. YAY!

    Happy WW,
    Judy

  31. MY GOODNESS - if you manage to make a room look THAT beautiful when you're feeling under the weather, then there's absolutely no hope for me! What a simple, and yet SUCH a beautiful idea. The daffodils and candles are a fantastic combination, and I feel no shame in saying that I am TOTALLY going to copy it right now! Hope that you feel better - can't wait to see the rest of the room x
