~White Wednesday # 143~

I have to say that my mood always shifts when we get to move the clocks forward.  Because that means Spring is just around the corner, right?  Obviously not, because I woke up to another 4 inches of snow this morning and no electricity:-(

So today I'm going to focus on a little display in my terrarium that reminds me that Spring will eventually get here. Enjoy! xoxo K.

I've attached clock faces and pages from an old french book to some branches.

Added a metal numbered french sign, and candle with french paper and medal attached.

And last, but not least, a nest filled with some eggs in hopes that Spring is not far off after all and instead of this area being covered in snow I can share it with you all decked out in green and flowers:-)

  1. What a pretty grouping and nifty idea for your vintage terrarium/aquarium!

I think your snow is gorgeous - this year we hardly had any, weird winter for us here in Ohio - but spring isn't far off. Hang in there!

  2. No snow here...it's in the 70's which is not normal at all. I think we are all excited for spring this year. Thanks for hosting!

  3. Wow! I'm just amazed at all that snow you woke up to today. I guess you don't want to hear that it was almost 80 degrees and sunny here (in GA) this afternoon. We woke up to heavy rain this morning though. I love how you accessorized your terrarium! That is the neatest thing. I never would've thought to do that. I love your use of old things mixed with nature too.

  14. Very pretty! We have way above normal temps and the trees are starting to bud...I love it but more than likely it will freeze hard yet and really mess things up. You are getting our Minnesota weather!

  21. What a way to have to get up in the morning. No Power with snow! You had to be cold but the lovely snow is always beautiful so you probably didn't even notice. Love what you did with the terrarium. Happy Spring Kathleen. I'm sure it will pop out from under the snow soon.

  23. Just looking at the snow makes me cold. We are supposed to get chillier weather here, but of course nothing like yours. As always, I LOVE your pictures. I've been working so much at the store, I haven't had time to get a White Wednesday post up yet!

    Take care my friend,

    your vignettes are so sweet.
Soon the snow will be a memory and your beautiful green yard will be the envy of us who can't have them :)
My inner clock can't seem to adjust this year to the time change, I am waking up late and staying up even later. My body is so mixed up.
