I've always been drawn to the chippy peely white paint on architectural pieces. I was lucky enough to come across two great corbels last summer that had that perfect patina. I wanted to make a shelf out of them for my kitchen and my husband finally got it up.
I'm sharing just a few sneak peeks with you since it isn't completely like I'd like it yet, but hope to share this whole area in my kitchen by the end of the week, so you'll just have to stop back by:-)
I'm also using this wonderful tote to hold some of my transferware dishes and bread boards. Enjoy! xoxo K.

ReplyDeleteOh I love your corbals! I was able to buy three chippy white ones last July. I have wanted hubby to put them under my islaand. He was not too excited about that idea. Now we are putting beadboard on the ceiling and one wall in our living room. I asked him if he would use them for a shelf on the wall. He was more than happy. He just thought that he would always be bumping them under the island. Mine are not as ornate as yours, but chippy white so of course, I love them. Can't wait! We have the ceiling finished, but are just starting on the wall. Excited to see your all decked out. Thanks for letting us share our whites.
