Since I shared a little bit of my new shelf in my kitchen the other day, I thought I'd show you some photos of my kitchen area with a couple changes I've recently made.
I painted the cupboard along the long wall from a creamy yellow to white, added the new shelf made from my chippy, peely architectural corbels and also moved the small table that used to be my island underneath the chalkboard.
I had this wonderful table up in my booth for a couple months and no one wanted her. I have to say that I was thrilled because I thought of the perfect place in the middle of the kitchen. I had one bench that fit underneath one side and would like to put a bistro chair on the other side:-)
Another new find is this wonderful french bottle drying rack that I just got at a little french sale close to my home and it fit perfectly on this small table. Thanks Amy:-)
This area of my home is constantly changing, but that's what I love about it. I have to warn you...I got a little camera happy. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I will be linking up with Donna at Funky Junk Interiors for Sat. Nite Special for her Picture Perfect #2 section.

You should be picture happy when your room looks that pretty. Take all the pictures you want and share away. Love it all!
ReplyDeleteI love your kitchen! Your new shelf turned out really well! It all looks just perfect to me! We have decided that the house we build will have white cupboards, wood floors and I'm hoping...wood counter tops. Yours look like wood yet they don't look like butcher block...what are they? I also want to add lots of chippy white paint, hopefully I'll find some old wood we can use for the front of the island.
ReplyDeleteI just love what you have done... thanks for showing us!
