My paperwhites and hyacinths have been blooming and I love the fresh look they bring to my kitchen. I think this is the look I'm going for in the 2012: Clean and fresh!
I'm finishing up packing away all my Christmas decor today. It doesn't seem like it's ever up long enough to really enjoy, but once it's all taken down again, I like the uncluttered look and am in the mood to change things up a bit. Enjoy! xoxo K.
My paperwhites got so tall and kept falling over, so I just cut the blooms and put them in a vase to enjoy.
I'm really looking forward to what everyone has to share this year and to also finish up the many projects around here so I have lots to share with you as well. I recently started a Pinterest account where I can find tons of inspiration. Unfortunately, I think I've found one more thing to take up all my time:-)

ReplyDeleteI love paperwhites too :-). It's so important to have something alive during the cold months. Pinterest is pretty wonderful, but addictive.
ReplyDeleteHi, I love fresh blooms for the holidays. Just threw my paperwhites out. They were gorgeous for some time. Finally, like yours they got so tall that I cut them and placed them in a turquoise pitcher. Enjoyed them for about a week more. My Amaryllis has one bloom left. After it's a goner I may have to plant something that will suffice till Spring. Thanks for letting us share our whites.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are so pretty, especially paired with the white ironstone. Thank you for hosting this lovely party!

ReplyDeleteThe flowers look so pretty on your counter!! Can I ask a really crazy sounding question? Do your paperwhites smell funny? I forced some bulbs years back but the scent the put off was something I just didn't like. I am wondering if they may have been a different kind of paperwhite.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the pretty white party again this week!
