Since I'm loving simplicity right now, I decided to add this galvanized feeder to the center of my dining room table. Fillling it only with candles and pinecones. I like to keep pinecones around the house through the winter to add a little nature.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. They are calling for snow around here....we'll see. I'll be spending my weekend getting things ready for the Junk Salvation Show coming up the first weekend in February. I will have a coupon that you can print for $1 off admission at the end of this post. Hope to see you there. Enjoy! xoxo K.
Also, I've had a few people ask me where I got my burlap curtains and I purchased them online at Ballard Designs.

I was just going to ask you the same things about the curtains! I really don't have curtains on any of my windows in my house. Now that everyone has moved out and its just me, I'm starting to think I might like some curtains. I so wish I could jump in my car and just drive up North to your show. I haven't been to Oregon is such a long time. When my kids were younger we spent some time at Yachats on the coast, and one vacation in, is it Sunriver? Anyway, I always love your house and curtains!!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sue
So excited you'll be at the junk show in Hillsboro! Did not realize you were from around here. My daughter and I are planning to go--thanks for the coupon! Is it okay to take pictures there for our blogs?

I love your simple table design! There's something about the holidays being over that makes us all want simple and clutter free. Your dining room looks beautiful. What is the "terrarium-like" piece by the wall? I can't quite see it - looks like some old clocks etc. are inside? I'll have to look through your posts to see if you've done one on that!
ReplyDeletei agree with your feeling about simplicity. I love the feeding tin. What my eye was drawn to though was the column in the corner of the room. I love it!

I love the simplicity. It always seems to be what's needed after the over abundance of Christmas. Around here when Christmas comes down it's white, a little green and, yes, pinecones! Wish I could get up to Hillsboro for your Junk Salvation show. I should alert my friends in Beaverton!
ReplyDeleteIts lovely. I have a chicken feeder too and you've given me a wonderful idea on how to display it!
ReplyDeleteSimple, classic, perfection! Good luck with your first show of the year!

Everything so so beautiful! I just love all of it. I finally made up my mind recently that our next kitchen will have white cabinets and a wood floor, hopefully butcher block counter tops. Seeing your lovely post has finalized the white and natural wood look. It's just so soothing and restful. Thanks for the pretty post!
