~White Wednesday # 102~

I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing holiday weekend. I was able to get out in my yard for a few hours yesterday between rain showers to get some plants that I've bought planted, but still have lots to do. Peonies are one of my favorite flowers and I picked up a few new ones to add to my garden. One of them has this beautiful white bloom with just a touch of pink. The new ones I just bought have huge buds and are starting to bloom already, but all of my original ones are still tiny buds due to this cold and wet weather we've been having. Hopefully I'll have many more to bring inside to enjoy. I placed them in a white pitcher on my cupboard in an area in my kitchen that I've been changin up. Can't wait to share the whole room. Enjoy! xoxo K.

I will be choosing a blog each week to feature someone who has linked up with something that has caught me eye. I'm already afraid this is going to be harder than I thought because everyone shares such lovely whites every week. This week I was drawn to these fabulous totes that Sharon made and has for sale(I think I might need one of these guys). Wouldn't this be fun to take to the flea market to fill up with treasures? Please take a moment to stop by Sharon's blog and check out what else she's been up to.

I also want to thank Sandi for making and sending me this lovely lavender filled sachet. I could smell the aroma as soon as I opened my mailbox...heavenly. It was wrapped to lovely and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness Sandi. Thank you:-)

~For the Love of Lilacs~

The lilac bush planted right outside our dining room window has a ton of blooms this year(finally) and this morning the sun was shining on them, so I decided to cut some so I could enjoy and smell their lovely fragerance inside. By the time I had cut them and brought them into my laundry room sink to make my arrangement the sky was black and it was pouring. That's pretty much what it's been doing all day here:-( Oh well, I can still enjoy these beauties from the comfort of my home this weekend.
When we built our home we put this old galvanized sink in the laundry room and I love how it still had the top. I usually put the top on when cutting and making my flower arrangements and then take it off and sit the container in the sink while filling it with water. It works great. The laundry room is another, on the long list, of rooms I'm redoing and can't wait to share photos with you when finished. Enjoy! xoxo K.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend and if you're up for doing some junking, Monticello's is having their Anniversary Sale through Monday. I will have 15% off in my booth, so if you've seen something up there you just couldn't live without, now's the time to grab it:-) The Spring Show will also end Monday and is still filled with some great stuff! I'm linking up with Debra for VIF today.

~White Wednesday # 101~

I want to thank everyone who signed up for my giveaways and most importantly everyone who plays along week after week. White Wednesday wouldn't be possible if you guys weren't out there linking up all your white goodies every week:-)

So on to the next 100..... i just hope you don't mind if you see some previously posted whites from around my home and garden occaisionally because a girl can only have so much white...LOL.

I spent the weekend planting some white flowers in my pots on my porch, but since they are still pretty small I thought I'd share one of my favorite statues along with a birdhouse I got last weekend at the flea market from a talented guy who makes all kinds of things out of old wood. I really like the simplicity and different shape. I might stencil something across the front, what do you think? Enjoy! xoxo K.

~And the Winners are......

I hope everyone has had a nice weekend. It was supposed to rain all weekend, but surprisingly it turned out pretty dry and I was able to get outside and work. I finished planting all my pots on my porch and patio so now I can sit back and watch them grow:-) I decided to cut some branches off my apple tree before they are done blooming so I could enjoy them in the house. They look nice in my enamelware pitcher and it made a perfect backdrop for my daughters to draw the winners of my giveaways....yeah!

My oldest daughter, Nichole was kind enough to cut out all the numbers. And there were quite a few....look how they filled up my wooden bowl!

Brenna, my youngest was so excited to be able to draw the numbers.

So I won't keep you waiting any longer....The winner of the 1st Giveaway is Laurie of Heavens Walk. Congratulations Laurie and I'll be getting in touch with you shortly.

And the other three winners are:

~Jane from Mamie Jane's won the second giveaway. The lovely french inspired lacey journal with feedsack from Amy @ Mittens.

~Pattie from The Shabby Chick won the third giveaway. A custom doorknob inspiration holder made by Michelle @ Petite Michelle Louise.

~Tracie from Fishtail Cottage won the fourth giveaway which is a beautiful vintage necklace made by Debra @ Common Ground.

Congratulations to all the winners and each donater will be in touch with you to get all your info. I'd also like to thank everyone who played along and an even bigger thanks to everyone who donated all the wonderful items to these giveaways.

I'm going to start picking someone who links up each week that has really inspired me with their decorating ideas or projects, is new to blogging or has a wonderful Etsy shop and will then post a link to their blog the following week. I think it's important that we all support each other in this wonderful world of blogging. See you next week for White Wednesday and here's to another 100!!

~White Wednesday # 100~

It's Time!!!!!!! I never thought almost two years ago when I started WW that I'd ever reach 100, but here I sit typing my 100th post. This has been such a wonderful outlet for me. When I started blogging, I wanted to find more blogs out there that had similar interests as mine so I decided to try a linky party. I've always liked to decorate with white and so "White Wednesday" was born. It started out slowly, but gradually more and more of you started participating. I kept getting comments and emails about how much you looked forward to Wednesdays so you could either link up or check out everyone else's posts for the day. It has certainly kept me motivated to keep blogging when there have been many times that I feel I have nothing interesting to post about. Not to mention all the friendships I've made, even if through cyberspace and some of you I've been fortunate enough to actually meet in person.

My only regret is that I don't seem to have enough time right now to be able to leave comments to everyone who plays along or who leaves comments on my blog. I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate all the support for not only this theme party, but also my blog.

Today I'm going to share a few of my favorite clock vignettes to celebrate my 100th WW post. Enjoy! xoxo K.

Also, the rules for the giveaways are as follows:

Leave a comment on this post and if you are linking up with something "white" today you will get a second entry. Please make sure you leave another comment telling me you did so....it will be easier for me to keep track that way.

Here is another glimpse of the the prizes for each giveaway and remember there are four chances to win something. Good Luck!!!!
