~Bathroom Changes~

I've been changing things up in one of my bathrooms and I thought I'd share with you today for VIF with Debra at Common Ground. I've been working on several areas in my home lately and trying to get a cleaner look. I wanted this bathroom to have an industrial feel and had been collecting a few things especially for here. As you can see it's a small room and was kinda hard to get good photos, but I think you can get the feel for it. I'm adding lots of lavender in here to give it a great smell especially from the steam after a shower. I do have another shelf in the corner on the countertop that still needs to be painted and it will be filled with more bottles, soaps, shells etc....Enjoy! xoxo K.

Metal baskets are good for both holding toilet paper and as a shelf on the wall.

I like the look of the metal gears on the wall, but looking at them in these photos, they might need to be centered better?

And of coarse what room is complete without a few old clock faces?

~White Wednesday # 88~

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. My husband and I had a great day of junking last weekend for our Anniversary, so I thought I'd show you a few goodies I took up to my booth today. There's lots of chippy whites and crusty rust all mixed in with some grays right now. I hope you enjoy! xoxo K.

I love this chippy pedestal that I found along with one of many scales I have right now. They are so great for displaying many things.

The patina on these folding chairs is wonderful.

I'm just loving the texture and colors of coral and shells in my decor.

But, the best buy of the day isn't in these photos because it's a keeper. I've been looking for a mantel to go in my bedroom and I finally found one......It's perfect! It will rest up against the wall and won't take up much room. Just needs cleaning and a little nailing back together and then I'll be sharing it with you.

I picked up this wonderful book the other day at Barnes and Nobles. It's called Essentially French by Josephine Ryan. She is also the author of French Home. There's so much inspiration in each page and I'm still trying to redo areas in my home so I'm hoping this book helps keep me motivated. ~White Wednesday # 87~

Just a quick post today sharing my favorite flowers.....white tulips. I hope all of you had a wonderful Valentine's Day and were able to spend it with your loved ones. These were my present along with a great bottle of wine and some chocolate(of coarse). I think my husband knows me by now. Enjoy! xoxo K.

~Pillow Love~

Well I think my body finally said enough is enough running around and I've been sick in bed with the flu for the last two days. I feel so much better today. I wanted to share some pillows I recently purchased from Shellagh at Ticking and Toile. I met Shellagh about a year ago through blogging and we have gotten together a few times to do some junking and visiting. She's so sweet and we have lots in common. If you haven't checked out her blog or Etsy site you need to. Ever since she opened her Etsy store she has been busy with custom orders....yes, she's that good! I couldn't be happier with my pillows. I wanted my window seat in my kitchen to be filled with comfy pillows. I love how it turned out. Enjoy! xoxo K.

There was a heart filled with the best smelling lavander, berry boxes, a wonderful bag, some yummy lotion in a box and an amazingly faded pillow. Thanks so much... I love all my gifts and really appreciate your thoughtfulness.
