~Greenery Around the House~

I'm taking a little break from cleaning to share with you a few vignettes that I've created using greens.  My favorite this time of year is cedar, but I also use some fir to fill in bowls and baskets.

The house is smelling so good since I've brought in all this greenery.  It always amazes me how much of an impact it can have just added to a shelf.  Throw in some pinecones and it's a match made in heaven:-)

The other nice thing is it's all free.  Our cedar tree out front needed trimming and the fir came from the bottom of our tree we brought inside.  The pinecones are plentiful around here as well.  Better get back to the cleaning....I'm running out of time.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

  6. Kathleen,
I just love the smell of fresh greenery!! There is nothing that compares to it! I always have a fresh tree in the house and it fills the room, but when I bring is the cedar garlands for the rest of the house, it smells divine!! I love opening the front door and taking a deep breath! This is ONE of the many reasons it is my favorite time of year!!
Your home decor is lovely! It is so inviting... thank you for sharing!!

  17. LOVE the smell of fresh greenery.... none here this year, which is a shame... we're taking out the cedar tree in January, so we won't have any next year.

    Everything looks swell...

    Christmas blessings!

  18. Thank you Kathleen for your visit, beautiful comment and support to my passion for all things French Flea Market chic :)

There is just so much beauty in the calm of a white piece and a darker shade of white in all we paint.

    Happy New year my friend.
