~White Wednesday # 123~

Well the weather here has gotten very chilly and was only 32 degrees when I took the kids to school this morning....bbrrr.  I thought today would be a perfect day to share some photos of  my snowberries.  (Sorry for the poor quality of these pics...I'm still in desperate need of a new camera.)

I placed them in an old oil can and have them sitting in my laundry room next to a really cool old chalkboard that I picked up last month.  Our laundry room is where my family comes in and out of our house most of the time, so it's a great place for notes.  Still working on this room, but am really liking how it's coming along and can't wait to share. Enjoy!  xoxo K.

Michelle over at Petite Michelle Louise is my featured blog today.  I'm sure most of you are familiar with her blog and Etsy store, but if not, you are in for a real treat.  She was recently featured in Somerset Life magazine for her inspiration holders.

I love her style and she is so creative.  If you are in need of a white fix, you have to check out her Pinterest board.  I could get lost for hours in all her inspiration:-)

  7. I love the combination of the old pitcher with the snowberries against the old blackboard. Looks great! We've had some cooler weather here as well, especially at night. I guess it helps remind me of what time of year it is. The time seems to fly by. Hope all is well with you and your family!

    Take care, Sue

  10. WE had a bush with these berries in our yard when I was growing up. I never knew what they were called. We used to squeeze them between our fingers until they made a popping sound.
LOVE your oil can in front of the chalkboard filled with the berries.

  27. Hey Kathleen!
I finally get to come out to play again...I HAVE missed coming by. How is it going getting ready for the Monticello Christmas window...I keep thinking about pink and gray and wondering how you are going to pull it together? Ours (holiday open house) is November 10...I need to get busy.
You asked me about my bedsprings...it is still sitting here. Soon, I will get it over to the shop.
I can't wait to see your laundry room...I LOVED your bedroom that you posted about a while (a long while) ago...your bedding is beautiful...in fact, I am going to go check it out again.
    talk to you soon,
    Rene
