~White Wednesday # 118~

Looks like we're in for a treat of temps in the 80's for the rest of the week.  This is good news after a cool rainy weekend.  I'm loving my white hydrangea that is blooming right now.  I cut a few blooms to bring inside and put them in this wonderful little old container.

Don't you just love the crazing.  The lid has a crack, but that never bothers me:-)  I think some old silverware would look good also.  Sitting on one of my book bundles along with candles wrapped in old french paper makes the perfect vignette.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

Today I'm pleased to share a new blog with you.....well new to me anyway.  Some of you might already know Cheryl over at Sweet Young Journey.  I love the simplicity of her decorating style and she finds the most amazing things...like this wonderful daybed, sigh!!!

Here are a few more of her wonderful photos, but you have to go over and take a peek for yourself.

  3. All I can hear is that horrible Madonna saying, in a bad english accent, "I loathe hydrangea's"
    How dare she. lol
They are so beautiful, it really takes a heartless person not to love them.
Your vignettes with florals are always so gorgeous Kathleen.

  25. Hi Kathleen! Your hydrangeas are gorgeous! My husband thought all of ours needed a heavy pruning last spring...so we had just one or two blooms when we usually have surplus! So disappointing! I won't let him do that again! Thank you for hosting this evening! Have a wonderful weekend!
    Best Wishes and Blessings,
