I hope you are all having a wonderful week so far. I had a great junking weekend and found tons of stuff, but my favorite part of it was getting to meet up with the lovely Rene' of Miss Gracie's House. She was in town and wanted to get together so we met at a local street fair going on and also was able to do some old fashioned pickin' at a barn sale. We found all kinds of great rusty junk and had a great time visiting. I wish she lived closer so we could do it more often:-) I'll be sharing some of my purchases over the next week as I'm getting ready to do the Camas Vintage Street Sale on Sat. August 27th.
I've been wanting to share these white impatients all lined up in pots on my windowbox. This was something simple my husband made for me with just some metal brackets with a board lying across it and some thick rusty wire to help keep the pots in place.
I love how I can enjoy these pots filled with flowers from both the inside and out. I love the simplicity of these flowers and they do well here because they only get early morning sun. Enjoy! xoxo K.
My feature today is Linda at Delight. I've recently come across her inspiring blog and am so glad that I did. You'd have to go over and check it out along with all the lovely things she creates.
I'm also linking up with Cottage Flora @ Fishtail Cottage

I love the shelf with the clay pots lined in a row- very pretty!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful! I also so enjoy flowerpots placed to be viewed from indoors and out. Brings me joy every day!
White flowers always look so cool and fresh! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen,
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love white impatients...have them in big pots on either side of our front door. There is something about pure white flowers against deep green leaves...and yours are beautiful.
Enjoy the last few weeks of summer,
Cheryl at My Sister's Cottage

I love your window box! I love the simplicity of it....

ReplyDeleteGorgeous!

I love that you can see the pots and flowers from inside. I have hanging baskets at the kitchen windows and use extra chain on them so they hang low. That way you get a peek or red from inside. Bobby G. doesn't get my obsession with having things "just right". Hang em and go is his motto. LOL Happy WW and thanks so much for hosting ~
ReplyDeleteI am so honored you shared the garden party on your White Wednesday's post.....thank you! I especially love those pots with the impatients so happily blooming in them. xoxo, tracie
