~White Wednesday # 104~

Well tomorrow is finally the last day of school and I, for one, am very excited. I'm looking forward to spending more time at home with my kids and not running them around in the car. I'm also hoping to be able to get some projects done this Summer and have a little more time to check out everyone's blogs:-)

Today I'm sharing some of my ironstone that I've collected over the years. The pieces with lots of crazing, chips or cracks seem to be my favorites and I'm always on the lookout for more. Enjoy! xoxo K.

These last photos are of a new shelf that I put up. Now I'm almost ready to share photos of the whole kitchen.

My feature for this week is Rosemary at Ozma of Odds with her wonderful mermaid grotto bedroom. She makes the most wonderful things and these mermaids are no exception. Who wouldn't want to spend the evening in such a magical room? Please take a moment to stop by her blog and she also has a very inspiring Etsy store.

And lastly, I wanted to share a fabulous giveaway going on over at Sandi's blog, Wayside Treasures. If you love french items, you're gonna love her giveaway:-).

  15. I love your old ironstone. The more cracks and age spots, the better! I think that your tote needs to come home with me, since my last name is Jackson! Enjoy your summer. I remember well having three kids in school and being in the car non-stop. Summer is a nice time to kick back and relax!

Love the ironstone pieces you showed! I have been collecting it for years and can't seem to stop! Do we ever have enough? I've linked up but it hasn't shown up yet, hope it does! I seem to have been having problems not showing up at several places today.

  21. Your ironstone collection is lovely. A well loved and used collection will show its age with crazing and chips. The ironstone collection makes such a statement displayed as in a table setting. If I ever start another collection this is what I'll choose. Can't wait to see all your kitchen photos. I love Rosemary's mermaid bedroom. Its so charming, and I agree, who wouldn't want to sleep here. I'm off to visit Rosemary.
    Thanks for hosting your party.

  27. Your Whites are always so lovely... I struggle to find enough Whites to join in due to my World generally being a saturation of Color. *Winks* But I DO have some favorite and Sentimental Whiteness here and there. *Smiles*
