It's a beautiful sunny morning here and I'd like to share some photos of part of our kitchen with you. I guess you would call this part of the kitchen the breakfast room where our table resides. I've wanted a new table in here for a while now and found this awesome round one which fits perfectly. I love how it looks with my white primitive cupboard in this room. We had a window seat built in which I've got piled with lots of pillows where you have a perfect view of our pond. I've shown you several closeup shots of this room as I've been redoing it, but today I'd like to share the whole area and hopefully soon will be able to show the other half of the kitchen. Enjoy! xoxo K.
This table is a perfect fit and I love how we can seat more people around it than we could our other one. You can't beat it's original crackled paint either.
I found this architectural piece last Summer and hung it from the ceiling between the two rooms above the counter.
My girls love to write notes or what's on the menu for the night on the chalkboard that I recently added to this room.
I'm joining in with Debra over at Common Ground for VIF even though I don't have an Easter theme, but this is where we will have our brunch on Sunday morning with my parents. Wishing you all a blessed Easter weekend.
what a charming and lovely space...love the window seat and primitive furniture...and your countertops and apron front sink are perfect...thanks for sharing!

I love the shabbiness of it all. I thought you just sanded down your table and chairs to give it that look! It really looks perfect. The window seat with all the pillows is a cozy cottage delight! I just recently got a round table for our kitchen nook area and we love how much more room it gives us...and that you can fit more people around it. My kids used to just sit at the island, now they sit at the new round table. My favorite part of your nook is the Bakery sign.
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen is absolutely dreamy!! I'm drooling over every bit of it...

What a pretty room. Love the new old piece above the counter. I'm looking for something similar for above my island, something decorative to hang up and down, not flat like a pot rack with stuff hanging down.
