~Welcome Spring~

Since this is officially the first week of Spring I decided to bring in some cuttings off my forsythia bush. It's amazing how fast they bloomed once brought into the warmth of the house. I purchased this tall basket a few weeks ago and had intended to use it in my bathroom, which I still might in the future, but for now it is residing in my kitchen next to the chalkboard I moved from the hallway. I am now in the process of redoing my kitchen and the basket fit in so nicely. The bottom has four sections which was perfect for holding some old sea glass bottles that I have picked up here and there. Now if the weather could just cooperate...we did have a couple days of no rain and some sun breaks, but I'm ready for less rain and more sun breaks:) Think Spring.....Enjoy! xoxo K.

I added some forsythia in a couple bottles that I have sitting by my old scale in the kitchen and also in the bathroom.

I'm linking up with Debra over at Common Ground today.

  14. I am loving the old sea glass bottles and my fav is the bottle in the woven basket (I know there is a name for those bottles, but cannot recall the name). The forsythia is pretty in Alabama too. We call it "yellow bells" down in the SOUTH/ Thanx for sharing. Visit my blog to see my vintage Easter decorations. 30. Hi girl!!
I am so excited you enjoyed my shepherds hut posting, I too would love one and have for so many years, a true passion for me to have one, someday my girl. I love that if you were to tire of where it was placed you could tow it to another area of the garden yard.

Love what you inspire, you and I think so much alike and design taste :)

The Header I created with my messy sheets on the bed, my trade marked burlap and loving my doors and chairs.
Do you like the change or the old nest header, be honets :) it was a hard move for me to change, when I did I felt it lead me down a design direction that felt real, pure and simple. :)

Love all that you create over here have a perfectly inspiring Sunday

  40. I brought in some Forsythia the other day too. Amazing how fast those yellow buds burst with joy once the sun comes out to play! ...and equally as fast, drop them, once in the house!

Beautiful blog, btw...very soft and soothing.

    Just became a follower...

    Happy Saturday!
