Another week has flown by and today the sun is shining at my house...it's cold, but a rare treat to see the sun this time of year. I have a "before and after" to share with you today. I got this large frame a while back and didn't know where to put it. It has a beveled mirror with nice detailing. I found a skinny table( at my neighbor Sue's booth at Montiocello's) like I was looking for to put on this wall in my living room. As soon as I placed it there I thought of the mirror. I painted it white and then put a glaze over it. I'm eventually going to hang it on the wall and add a chandelier to that corner. So here's another little area in my living room. I still have a few things to hang and a shelf to paint, but it's coming along. Enjoy! xoxo K.
Here's a couple pics of the frame before I painted it...not so cool, but after a paint job it cleaned up pretty nice, don't ya think?
I also wanted to remind all you local gals about the Junk Salvation show this Saturday Feb,5th at 8am in Hillboro. There are lots of great vendors doing this show, so you wont' want to miss it. Remember to print the coupon below to get $1 off admission. I'll have some coral and book bundles like in my photos and I've been going through my white pottery collection along with lots of other great stuff. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pics of my booth on Friday evening. Gotta go....there's junk to be priced. See ya!

...so pretty! ~ but the mirror is outstanding!! LOVE how it looks now!!
ReplyDeleteHappy White Wednesday:)

I like the makeover, looks great. I love before and after shots. Glad you had some sun, and I have to say I almost feel selfish enjoying our Cali sunshine down here. When it dips into the 50's here, I'm freezing. I have no idea whatsoever, how people cope with snow & ice! Seriously, I don't get it!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sue
Love your sweet vignette.....that frame turned out awesome with a little paint!
ReplyDeleteHappy Junkin....Cathy aka GGJ
I love the frame. Paint can hide a host of damage. Great job!!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect! I love the whole package. The whole little corner. The mirror really took on a new persona, didn't it? 100% better.

Wow, what a difference. It looks beautiful. How is it anchored there? Do you just have it standing there? I'd be afraid it would slip down and crash.
