~White Wednesday # 80~

Well we made it through another Christmas and are enjoying the last week of the year. Can you believe how fast this year went by? My hope in the New Year is to really enjoy all the little things and try and find more time to visit all of you out in blogland. This has been an amazing outlet for inspiration and I've met some great people(even if only through cyber space). Wishing all of you a Happy New Year!

I also wanted to mention that the Christmas Show at Monticello's will now go through the New Year weekend, so if you didn't get a chance to see it or have some money burning a hole in your pocket, now's your chance. ~All Wrapped Up~

Well I finally finished with all my wrapping yesterday and had some time to do a little baking. I always tell myself I'm going to start on the wrapping sooner so I can enjoy all my labors, but somehow every year it's one of the last things to get done. Following my simple and natural theme this year, our tree was no exception. I had planned on putting lights on it, but it was a little too sparse. I think it's beautiful just the way it is. I want to take the opportunity to wish every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you all get what your heart desires. I will be spending the rest of the holiday break playing in the snow and spending some quality time with my family .

~White Wednesday # 79~

Some more Christmas white around my house....Madonnas. They always make me think of my Mom because she has a large collection and they were displayed on a shelf in her bedroom when we were kids. I love that they are usually always white and simple, but have a big impact on your decor, especially at christmas time. Enjoy! xoxo K.

~Nordic Style Mantel~

I'm always so inspired by the simple, yet elegant decorating style I see in my Jeanne d' Arc Living magazines. It makes me want to throw everything out and start over. Well, that's not so realistic, but I can do little areas at a time. I decided to add glass on my mantel this year. Stack a couple cake plates, some bottles with candles, ornaments in a jar and a clock sitting on an old book under a cloche....all this with some cedar greens and pinecones and this is what I came up with. I think I achieved the look I was going for, what do you think? Enjoy and hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. xoxo K.

~White Wednesday #78~

I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. I've been busy getting ready for Christmas and just finished all my shopping today:) I keep hearing many of you wanting to keep your Christmas decorating simple this year and I feel the same. I have always loved to bring nature indoors especially during the holidays. Today I'm going to share this lovley branch filled with some of my white ornaments sitting in an urn. You can really use just about anything for a tree......just use your imagination. Enjoy! xoxo K.

~Flea Market Favorite~

Well it was pretty slim pickins at the flea market yesterday, but I did find one thing that made the trip worth while. Since I haven't had much time to post lately, I thought I'd share this beauty with you. Now if this siphon was clear glass I'd definetly be keeping her because I've been wanting one for a while now, but since it's blue she'll fit in perfectly up in my booth at Monticello's with some of my other blue goodies. Doesn't she look lovely next to some vintage glass ornaments that I also found and I love the writing all worn and faded.

Well I better get back to my cleaning and decorating.......you can actually see my dining room table(yeah) and my cupboard in the background is finally cleared off. I'll be back with some photos of the finished products later this week. Enjoy! xoxo K.
