~White Wednesday #63~

I'm running a little late today and have been so busy lately between sales and trying to get my kids ready for back to school that I didn't have time to think of anything clever for my WW post. I will share with you a few photos with some white things in them of my space last weekend at the Camas Vintage Street Faire. I want to say a special thank you to Debbie and Laurie of Worthy Goods for putting on such an amazing show and for letting me be a part of it. It was a beautiful sunny day with great junk, friendly customers and some super talented vendors.

And I have some very exciting news to share. I am going to be a part of the Fall Show at Monticello Antique Marketplace this year which runs from Sept. 10-26. This, too is an amazing show with some very talented vendors and I'm so happy to be able to be a part of it. Thanks Joyce for giving me this opportunity. I better get busy because set up starts in one week.....Yikes! Enjoy. xoxo K.

~Camas Vintage Street Faire~

I've been busy getting ready for the Camas Vintage Street Faire. I was excited to be asked to be a part of this fun event hosted by Debbie & Laurie of Worthy Goods. The sale is tomorrow Saturday August 28th from 9-4. Take a look at their site for the list of all the wonderful vendors that will be there selling all kinds of goodies for your home and garden. I love the town of Camas, Wa with its tree lined streets and make sure you stop in Camas Antiques also while you're there. You don't want to miss this one and if you can't make it, I'll try to take lots of photos to share. Enjoy your weekend! xoxo K.

Here are a few things you'll find in my booth so hope to see you in Camas tomorrow.

~White Wednesday #62~

Queen Anne's Lace........weed or beauty? I guess it's in the eye of the beholder, but I happen to think they are very beautiful indeed. If you drive along the country roads this time of year you will see thousands of these beauties swaying in the wind. I wanted some for my sale last weekend so I grabbed my favorite bucket for cut flowers and walked up our road with clippers in hand. They seem to make a statement even though they are so simple. Enjoy! xoxo K.

Even the bees love them.

Here is a bouquet I had at the sale.

I really like how they look inside an old blue glass jar.

This display looks wonderful on my table in our kitchen.

Aaahhh....... Simplicity!

~White Wednesday #61~

Welcome to another Wednesday full of whites. I had wanted to share some items I'll be taking to Molly Mo's Antique Faire this Saturday, but have felt really swamped today going through things and getting them cleaned up and priced. Hopefully I'll be able to post some photos of my booth Friday evening after I've got it all set up and looking lovely.
Today I'm going into my archives of white pics that I've already taken to share so I can get back to work. I found this chippy rusty metal stand a few years ago and just happened to have an enamelware bowl that fits it perfectly. I have it sitting on my porch right as you walk up the path just waiting to greet you. Enjoy! xoxo K.

To all you local ladies out there that will be coming to the show, please stop in to visit if you have a chance. I love to meet new people and chat with old friends. See ya there.

~Pillow Talk~

I received many comments on my feedsack pillow on my front porch and wanted to share some more photos of a few I have. A few years ago I purchased some statuary pieces from a nursery and he gave me some old feedsacks to put in between them so they wouldn't move around. When I pulled them out I was amazed that they were in such good condition. Two of them are sacks for coffee beans. I think they make great pillows for outside so you don't have to worry about them getting dirty or if you have furry friends who like to snuggle up to them. I'm loving anything with numbers or writing on it so these fit in nicely. Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. xoxo K.

~White Wednesday # 60~

Is it just me or is Summer flying by? I can't believe the first week of August is already over and only a month until school starts again. Didn't it just get out? I've been busy this summer and there's never enough time to sit back and relax. Today I'm sharing some candles I made this Spring for some of my sales this summer. Candles remind me of relaxation. Add a little "charm" to them and they can also be a great addition to any decor. Enjoy! xoxo K.

I've added old watch faces to most of them and also show a few bottles I made with vintage keys. It's so fun to add vintage touches to simple things.
