For this Wednesday's post I'm going to share a Spring classic. Whenever I see the apple blossoms I know warmer weather isn't too far off. We live up a little higher in elevation so mine are blooming a little later than most. They are so sweet and I love how the pink buds look against the white pots, plates, clocks and pitchers. They are a reminder that it is the start of my favorite seasons and when the weather starts turning cooler again in Fall I'll have lots of apples to make pies. Yum! Enjoy. xoxo K.

I found this wonderful plant at Costco the other week. They were selling it by the flat and it's called Muehlenbeckia axillaris "Nana" Wire Plant and is a ground cover. I put some of it in a couple pots and just fell in love with how it looks. I was able to get out in my yard yesterday, but the rain is already back so I won't be able to finish today. Hope you enjoy this wonderful new garden find as much as I do. xoxo K.

Welcome to another White Wednesday. I hope everyone is enjoying their week so far. Today I'm going to share a little vignette I put together in my bathroom with some of my recent finds. I got this great metal basket at Monticello Antique Marketplace last week. I have to thank Shellagh for the idea of towels in it for the bathroom. I really like how it turned out. Enjoy! xoxo K.
The lavendar soap and candle were a hostess gift from my sisiter-in-law that she made. All I did was add some cotton balls to the glass jar along with putting a number on the little white pot and filling it with some Q-tips.
This last photo is a view through the mirror that hangs above my sink.

I wanted to share some of my finds from my junking day on Monday. I obviously had "galvanized" on the brain because I found a bunch of it. I've always liked it and have collected watering cans, buckets and washtubs for years now.
Here's a shot of some of my loot.
And these next ones are of what I did with a few of them. It's been warmer here and I've been outside playing.
This is my potting bench and I love how someone used the sign as part of the wood when they built it. I'm not sure what it was originally used for, but it works great to hold and pot up plants. The tote is something I found at Goodwill and I was thrilled because I've seen a couple lately and wanted them, but didin't want to pay the price, so at $4.99 it was mine. Don't you love the little frog? He hung out there the whole time I was messing around.
The watering can will be added to my stash that I've been collecting. I've always wanted to display a bunch of them on a shelf along a wall in a potting shed. My husband promised me we could start building it this Summer and I can't wait. I love how this one has a snumber stamped on it.
I liked how this old bucket had the remains of a white tag still on it. I could picture it with a number over it. It turned out great and looks good on my porch. i have it sitting on an awesome rusty metal table I found a couple weeks ago. Don't you just love the wheels!
And this last photo is of a few other things I found. I'm going to show you what I did with all this stuff in my bathroom on Wednesday for my WW post. Make sure you stop by and check it out. Enjoy your weekend! xoxo K.

That time of the week already? Do any of you feel that way? It seems time is getting away from me lately. I've got Spring and flowers on my mind and was able to get outside and work in my yard some this weekend. That always makes me feel good. Today I've got some photos of white tulips in my favorite brown transferware pitcher. This area is right as you walk in the front door and I love the simplicity of the wood and white. Add in some flowers and a nice welcome into my home. Hopefully you are all able to enjoy some sun and nicer weather. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I also got to have a "fun" day yesterday. Shellagh from Ticking and Toile and I have been trying to meet up at one of my favorite Antique Malls, Monticello for quite a few months now. Well it finally happened and just in time for their Garden show. Wow! It looked amazing. She invited a friend of hers, Kim at White Whispers 2 U and would you belive she only lives a short distance from me. It's a small world. I was so glad she came and both these women were so sweet and I really had a great day. I actually had some time to stop at a couple Goodwill's on the way home and found some more treasures. Maybe if I have time to go through things I'll give you a sneak peek of some of my goodies. It was a much needed day to myself. If any of you are local you have to stop by Monticello's and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

It's been a while since I've participated in "Silver Sunday" with Beth at Gypsy Fish. While down in California last month I was lucky enough to visit Country Roads Antiques and while going through my photos from there noticed quite a few with silver vignettes. I saved these ones for today. Hope you are having a nice weekend and make sure you stop by Beth's blog and check out all the great silver. Enjoy! xoxo K.
