~White Wednesday # 41~

Since Easter is just around the corner I thought I would post some photos of a few of my bunnies. I used to decorate more for Easter, but have minimized a lot of my seasonal decorating lately. I do want to try and decoupage some eggs with old sheet music or book pages, but haven't had time yet. Maybe that can be another post. The paper mache bunny is an old one that I've had for many years. My sister and I went to an estate sale and she found two of them. She was kind enough to give me one and he's my favorite. ~White Wednesday # 40~

Once again Wednesaday has rolled around and can you believe this is No. 40. It seems like just yesterday I was wanting to test the waters with this idea. I want to thank everyone who has helped to make this a fun day that so many of you look forward to. I noticed today that I also have received my 500th follower. I started my blog in March 2009, so it's been a whole year and I've posted over 100 posts(is that all). Seems like a great time for a giveaway. Not sure what yet and will have to think about it, but check back for my next post and I'm sure I'll have come up with something by then. Thanks again for making this experience so fun and to all the great people I've met both in person and on the internet.

Today was a nice warm sunny day and I had some time to get out in my yard this afternoon. I've always been drawn to white enamelware and can't even part with the ones that are rusty and have holes in them. These are great for planters and most of mine hold some sort of sedum. I think they just go together, don't you? Enjoy! xoxo K.

~White Wednesday # 39~

My family and I have been down in Anaheim, CA at Disneyland for the last five days. It has been a great trip. I had the opportunity to stop in at County Roads Antiques and Gardens and see it with my own eyes and let me tell you it was amazing.





Well we made it home safely. It was a little hard for me to leave the wonderful 80 degree day we had yesterday to wake up this morning to 40 degrees and cloudy with rainy. It is supposed to be sunny and in the 60's this weekend, so I can't complain too much.




When we were planning this trip I knew I wanted to take some time to stop by Country Roads Antiques since we were so close. I'm so glad I did and it is an amazing Antique Mall. The building alone is wonderful, but you put all that awesome old, tattered and worn stuff inside and it is an experience. I loved the outside garden area and was inspired with all the recycled items they used out there. My favorite was an old freezer turned into a fountain.








I was so glad that Sue was working that day and had a chance to meet her. She was so nice and has made a wonderful business for herself. We were talking about the people who have spaces there that I might know through blogging and guess who comes walking down the isle, but Kate from Salvage Dior herself. I was so glad to meet her and her husband and we had a chance to visit a little bit. These next two photos are from her space which looked beautiful right as you walk in from out in the gardens.







I recognized the gals from Nice and Easy Antiques booth right away because of some of the projects they've been posting about lately. I only wish I could have met them also. These photos are from their space.












This is my daughter, Nichole standing in front ofthe building. If any of you live in the area and haven't been to this amazing Antique Mall or are going to be nearby I'd highly recommend stopping in. You won't be disappointed!
