I have wanted to join Debra at Common Ground for her Vintage Inspiration Friday, but time has not allowed. Today her theme is the Fall decorated table. Well my dining room table has been lost in a sea of "junk" for months now. It seems to be the place to set all my treasures I bring home. I've been busy going through, cleaning, fixing, washing and pricing and in doing so have a clean table. These dishes are some I've been collecting and thought it would be fun to decorate my newly clean table for Debra's party.
It turned out very simple looking which I like, but after seeing the photos I wish I had put something under the plates for a placemat. My Dad has a bird hunting dog that he enjoys hunting with and has been saving me the pheasant feathers. A different look rather than a pitcher of flowers and the little white baby boos are always fun to decorate with in the Fall. Enjoy! xoxo K.

Your table setting is so pretty!!! I know what you mean about the Dinning room table being a catch all.. I have stuff all over mine too, and need to find a home for it all.

It's lovely. Soft and warm and welcoming! I know about a table being covered with your finds. I have just cleaned mine off and did a Halloween table. Now to keep it clean!
ReplyDeleteI love this. Simple, elegant, and fall-like, too. Really LOVE your hutch and big clock in the background.

My 16 year old daughter has a box full of those dishes that we have been collecting for her first set of dishes when she gets her own place! You have excellent taste!!

ReplyDeleteHey there, Kathleen, Girl, you made it!!! I'm so glad I gave you the push you needed to get that beautiful table cleaned off. I just love seeing these wide shots of your home. Not only is your fall table just lovely (that ironstone pitcher with feathers!!!)but your cabinet/hutch is just gorgeous over there. Thanks so much for linking up today, and you know I mean it!
ReplyDeletelove you bunches,
Debra
I love your Table. I'm currently swimming in a Sea of Junk as well on my craft table, my dinner table, and the table I setup in the other room for my Boyfriend to put his junk collections (he's already filled it up). It's so refreshing to clear a space up and make it personal. That's what I'll be doing tonight/tomorrow!
ReplyDeletePS: That runner is to die for!
That looks great woww!!!.so lovely Katleen....happy friday !! love Ria.....
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful. I can totally relate to the dining room table becoming the catch-all for the treasures/projects. Periodically, we have to have a purge. Just had one, as it happens! Anyway, yours is just lovely all decked out as it is.

Your table looks wonderful. I love the ironstone pitcher with the quail feathers!
ReplyDeleteMy dining room table ends up being the dumping ground for my found treasures too. Wish I could say mine looks as clean as yours.
Happy Halloween.

I love your table and chairs so much! I've been painting everything white and the thought of painting six black chairs white make me want to cry. So much so that I think I'm going to start looking for chairs to buy already done:)
ReplyDeleteLove your dishes and the pitcher of pheasant feathers is delightful♥

I think the dishes are so pretty and really, aren't those little white pumpkins just the best? You can't go wrong with them on your table!
ReplyDeleteLove your fall decor! No orange! That's just the way I like it! And I love seeing pictures of your house! More please!

What a lovely table setting. Sadly it is impossible to find whit pumkins here so I had to buy orange tiny ones for my candle plate. The feathers in a pitcher looks like a nice replacement when there is no flowers in the garden left. Enjoy the weekend /Therese
ReplyDeleteYour table is delightful! Love how the plates and pumpkins go together with the lace. The centerpiece is neat, too! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely. I think it looks great even without the placemat. Love the strong contrast of the white plates and dark wood. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove that table!
ReplyDeleteBest one by far!!
Happy Halloween!
