I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. My days are still a little crazy and I'm really missing not having time to visit all your blogs. I promise as soon as things slow down I'll be checking out all your inspiration out there.
It's been beautiful here lately in the mid 70's and sunny. I decided to venture out in my garden for todays post and found these lovely white dahlias with just a hint of pink. I placed them in one of my enamelware pitchers on a cute little cabinet in my bathroom. I found the bottle with original label at the last flea market I went to. Don't you love it?.....this one's a keeper for sure. Enjoy! xoxo K.

I fell in love with Dahlias a couple of years when visiting my friend. She grows them huge!!! Yours look lovely in that pitcher!! Happy WW!!

LOVE your Dahlias! Funny how something so simple as the beauty of a flower can brighten up an entire room! My garden is still in sad shape! Been waiting for my oldest to help me gain some control over it. She is the one that has the nursery at Country Roads. Happy WW!!

Beautiful Dahlias! Love those old bottles too! Thanks so much for the best party of the week, Kathleen! Jacqueline
ReplyDeleteHello! Love the whites today -- dahlias are among my favorite blossoms, and yours are particularly scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteI have a twin to your enamelware pitcher -- mine has a matching bowl. However, they've been living outside for the past two years and have gotten a wee bit rusty and funky. I used to have them in a bathroom at our former house; got them 32 years ago from a friend's great grandmother when she was moving to Florida.
Love the shape of that pitcher; classic.
Cass

Oh, your flowers are beautiful and they look perfect in the pitcher with your other treasures. This is my first White Wednesday. I know I took a non-traditional approach, but when I saw that white light in my pictures it just seemed to fit. Next time I will look for some white "things"!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathleen! Happy WW to you, friend! I'm now obsessing over your adorable vintage bottle! So cool! And the vignette you created is so very pretty! :) Hope you had a great day!

Dinner plate dahlias are something to see. I tried to raise some a few years back ala Martha, but Texas doesn't have the best record for 'em!
ReplyDeleteGood gosharover...how long has Lavoris been in business?
Debbie
