~Sweet Kitties~

My daughters have been wanting me to post some pictures of their little kitties we got last summer. My sister's cat had kitties and of course the girls' really wanted one even though we already had a cat. She couldn't find anyone to take them so we decided to bring home two of them and they both ended up being girls. They are both very sweet and have grown up quickly ,like they always do. It was fun watching them play together when we first brought them home and they still chase each other around and snuggle up to each other to sleep.

This is Gracie. Last summer(isn't she a cutie?)

And now she's all grown up.

Here is Cali(Short for Calico) when she was little and now.

She was harder to get a picture of when she was little because

she was shy and would always run away.

And this is Trixie. He is 4 years old now and it took a while for him to get used

to the new kitties, but they are all one happy family now.

~Mirror, Mirror on the Wall~

Well we've finally gotten some warmer weather around here, but between that and running kids around I haven't been able to sit down at my computer lately. Today isn't as nice and I actually have a day to stay home so between laundry I thought I'd post some mirror pictures. I love mirrors in all shapes and sizes and have them all over my house. Call me crazy, but the ones that are all crazed and hazy are my favorite even though you look distorted in them. They are especially great when they show a reflection of another area in your room. The boy and girl statue is perfect for holding some of my necklaces and even a bracelet for a crown in my bathroom.

~Or Out~

I have to admit I have an obsesion with statues. I have them all over my yard, patio and porch and many inside my house. There is something about statuary especially that I am drawn to. You can find them in all shapes and sizes both old and new. Today I'm giving you a peek at a few from both inside and out. They are something in my opinion you can never have enough of and can easily be moved from room to room or yard to patio. I also like to bring the outside statuary into my house from time to time. I have two large cherubs on either side of my mantel, but I'm going to leave all my cherubs for another post. Thanks for stopping by and hope the sun is shining where you are. xxo K

~Spring will Bring~

Well I finally got my computer back. We were having some problems and took it in to get looked at and they had it for over a week. I didn't realize how much I looked forward to reading everyone's blog until I didn't have access. Anyway, the weather has finally warmed up at my house and I've spent the last three days working out in my yard. Believe me it has a long ways to go, but it felt so good to get outside and get my hands dirty.

We have a chalkboard in our hallway and my daughters take turns drawing or writing on it each month. My oldest daughter did this last one. It was hard to get a good picture since it is in a hallway, but I think it turned out cute. Hopefully all of you are enjoying the first signs of Spring as much as we are.

I will have many more pictures to share with you as the weather gets nicer and everything begins to grow. I can't wait!
