Okay, here is my first attempt at blogging. I have wanted to start one for a while now and have finally gotten around to it. Bear with me since I'm a newbie at all this blogging stuff. I have been looking at some great blogs for a while now and they have given me tons of inspiration. I especially love the ones that feature their homes and gardens. My hope for this blog is to show you what I have accomplished with my own home and garden. I feel it's an excellent way to get ideas. I have been recently painting and redecorating some rooms in my house and will show you when they are finished.
Here are some pictures of what I saw at my house this evening, even though it is March. I don't know about you, but I can't wait until it gets warmer. The first one is now and the second one is the same area last summer. Something to look forward to. Enjoy!

Yeah Kathleen! I'm so excited that you started a blog. Now everyone can see what I have for awhile now. You have incredible style and such a knack for decorating. I'm sure others will be inspired by what you show here. It's slow going at first, but I promise it will get easier the more you post. I'm going to go add you to my favorites now.
